Fetch Testing

Pre-Entries closed 10/16 @ Noon, but we will offer Day of Entries (pre-entry limits were not reached) at $30 per dog/per trial Novice & Intermediate & $40 per dog/per trial Advanced & Retriever.

Day-of entries will be taken on site from 7:00 – 7:30 AM on Saturday, October 19th and 7:00 – 7:30 AM on Sunday, October 20th.

Entries are not complete until entry and payment are both received by the Trial Secretary. Please download the fillable entry form in the link below, fill it out on your computer (you may need to enable editing), save the file, then email the PDF to Trial Secretary, Lana Casady at the email address:  steelelana3@gmail.com.  Then scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the Fetch Testing Payment link to pay for your testing.  Please click on “select options” to enter the level you are testing for each day.

Show hours 7:00 AM to completion each day

Building opens at 7:00 AM.  Briefing 7:45 with first dog to follow.  The testing for Novice & Intermediate will be back-to-back with Trial 1 followed by Trial 2.  For Example Novice Trial 1 the first dog will test and then immediately test for T2 with the second judge.  If you wish to not test back-to-back, you can tell the judge and gate steward to add you to the end of your level for your second test.  The testing for Advanced & Retriever will be all of Advanced T1, followed by all of Advanced T2.  Retriever will follow with all of T1, followed by all of T2.  Please note that the run order is at the discretion of the judges and can be changed.

Crating:  Please take up no larger than a 3×5′ area when crating so everyone who wants to crate inside may do so.  When crating on our matted area, those using wire crates MUST have a barrier by way of mat, towel or blanket between your crate and the matting.  Crating from your car is fine as well.

Spectators:  We will have an area far enough away to not disturb those testing.  Please do not talk or make noise while watching.

Check in: 7:00 – 7:30  A.M. each day inside the building.  Use the south entrance to enter and exit except when testing. You must check in for each test you are doing each day.

Entry limit of 30 dogs per event for Novice & Intermediate. Same-day entries will be available until full since pre-entry limits were not reached.

Entry limit of 15 dogs per event for Advanced & Retriever.  Same-day entries will be available until full since pre-entry limits were not reached.

Move-ups will be permitted between tests and days.

Notice to Exhibitors-This trial is open to all breeds, including PAL and All American Dogs with an AKC Canine Partners number, who are at least 6 months of age. Dogs may wear slip collars that are on the dead ring, buckle collars, martingales and body harnesses. They may not wear prong collars, head collars, e-collars, or harnesses that restrict the movement of the dog. Leashes should be 4ft. to 6ft. long and should be made of fabric or leather.  No flexi-leads on site.  Dogs should remain on leash except when testing.  Please keep dogs 3′ away from other dogs at all times.  When testing, you will go out the west door and re-enter the building (if you crated inside) on the south entrance.  A dog potty area will be provided to the south across from the building/road.  Please pick up after your dog.  There will be trash cans for waste and potty bags in that area.
